Biotin-PEG-COOH (MW 10000) is a linear heterobifunctional PEG compound with biotin and carboxylic acid functional groups. Biotin can bind to avidin and streptavidin with high specificity and affinity. Biotin-PEG-COOH (MW 10000) can be used to biotin-label antibodies, proteins and other macromolecules containing primary amines in the presence of a condensing agent[1].
