Boc-Glu (OBzl) -Ala-Arg-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate for coagulation factor XIa and trypsin. The cleavage of the amide bond between arginine and the methylcoumarin amide group releases fluorescent 7-Amino-4-methylcoumarin.
