CD2 Protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is expressed on the surface of T cells, NK cells, thymus cells and dendritic cells. The CD2 Protein mediates the adhesion of T cells to various cell types and triggers T cell responses through interactions with lymphocyte function-related antigens CD58 (LFA-3) and CD48/BCM1.
