Description
GAD2/GAD65 Protein is a key enzyme in neurotransmitter metabolism, specifically catalyzing the production of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) . Meanwhile, GAD2 also has glutamate binding activity, glutamate decarboxylase activity, and pyridoxal phosphate binding activity. GAD2 is expressed in several structures, including the genitourinary system, the gastrointestinal nervous system, and sensory organs. It can be used to study epilepsy and type 1 diabetes. GAD2/GAD65 Protein, Mouse (sf9, His-GST) is the recombinant mouse-derived GAD2/GAD65 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with N-His, N-GST labeled tag.
