PCDH7 Protein, an integral membrane protein, belongs to the PCDHδ1 subfamily and it is highly expressed in brain and heart. PCDH7 is a synaptically localized, GluN1-interacting protein that regulates synapse morphology and function. PCDH7 is the first trans-membrane protein that inhibits homotypic cell-in-cell (hoCIC) formation to promote tumor growth[1][2].
