    The TNFRII protein is a receptor with high affinity for TNFSF2/TNF-α and low affinity for TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-α, and plays a key role in mediating the metabolic effects of TNF-α. The TRAF1/TRAF2 complex recruits BIRC2 and BIRC3 to TNFRSF1B/TNFR2 to regulate the apoptotic pathway.
