(S) -UFR2709 (hydrochloride) decreases anxiety and reduces ethanol consumption and ethanol preference in alcohol-preferring rats. (S) -UFR2709 (hydrochloride) acts as an anxiolytic agent and can be used for the study of nicotine addiction[1][2].
