Description
The CDK6ic complex is an important serine/threonine protein kinase that regulates cell cycle progression and differentiation, promoting the G1/S transition by phosphorylating substrates such as pRB/RB1 and NPM1. It interacts with D-type G1 cyclins during interphase to form active pRB/RB1 kinase, which controls cell cycle entry.
